From research November borns are observant, resourceful, brave, optimistic, confident and passionate but November 4th borns are twice better. Apart from the great Nigerian Social Entrepreneur, Nation Builder and Philanthropist, Jonathan Olakunle Olanlokun, who rose to be the change his society crave for, the philanthropic giant, battled odds, endured lack and hurts to birth social change today – I would like to cite other November 4th borns who have done for humanity, the good job of helping those in need.

Born on November 4th, 1962, Femi Otedola is the second man after Aliko Dangote to be named on Forbes’s list of dollar denominated billionaires. He is a business man, entrepreneur and philanthropist. He is blessed with the midas that turns moribund fuel outlet into vibrant ones. The boss of Forte oil, Femi Otedola is without hesitation, one of the richest men in Africa and his love and passion is deep even for humanity. Femi Otedola made several donations to Michael Otedola University Scholarship Scheme to give under-privileged students in Lagos state access to Higher Education. In 2005, he donated 200 million Naira to the scheme’s fund, brewing benefits to more than 1000 students. He also made a 300 million Naira donation to the national ecumenical center.  In 2007, he was among the group of donors that gave 200 million Naira to the State Security Trust Fund to help solve crime appreciations.  Later that year, he donated 100 million Naira to the Otedola College of Primary Education in Epe and in 2008, the millionaire donated 80 million Naira to the Faculty of Agriculture in the University of Portharcourt. Femi Otedola is doing the Good Work.

Jim Ovia

Born on November 4th, 1951, Jim Ovia is a business man who founded Zenith Bank in 1990. He served as  CEO until 2010 when he was transferred to the chairman role. He has been the recipient of a Nigerian national honor. Talking about humanity, Jim Ovia is a philanthropist and has headed numerous non - governmental organizations (NGOs) at various times. He is the founder of Jim Ovia Foundation, He is also the Chairman and founder of Mankind United to Support Total Education (MUSTE), a philanthropic organization focused on providing scholarships for the less privileged, of which some of the beneficiaries are now professionals of diverse fields. He is also the founder of Youth Empower/ICT Foundation which focuses on improving socio-economic welfare of Nigerian youths by inspiring and motivating them to embrace information and communication technology. Jim Ovia is doing the Good Work.

Sean John Combs (Puff Daddy)

Sean John Combs also known as Puff Daddy was born on November 4th, 1960, is an American wrapper, singer, song writer, actor, record producer and entrepreneur. He was born in Harlem, in Manhattan, New York City and was raised in Mount Vernon, New York. Combs have done for humanity what any empathetic man would do. In 1995, he founded the Daddy’s House social programs aimed at helping inner city youth. In 2016 Sean Combs donated 1 millions dollars to Alma mater Howard University and Started the Sean Combs Scholarship Fund which will help shape a new entrepreneurially spirited Bison. Along with Jay Z, he pledged  1 million Dollars to help support victims of the Hurricane Katrina in 2005 and donated clothing from Sean John Line to victims. He also have donated computers and books to New York schools. Sean John Combs is doing the Good Work.

Laura Bush

Laura Bush was born on November 4 1946, in Midland Texas. Following her marriage to George W. Bush, in 1977, Laura devoted her time to volunteer work and home making. After George was elected Governor of Texas, in 1994, Laura raised her profile working to improve literacy. As first lady, she spoke on the radio in support of the Afghan people and testified before the Senate Committee on Education. In 2007, The Laura W. Bush institute for Women’s Health was founded at Texas Tech University. Laura travelled around and spoke at events on the importance of early detection of heart disease. She has travelled to the Middle East in an attempt to highlight concern for women’s health and promoting breast cancer awareness.  Laura was a leading initiative in health, literacy and gender equality. She even created a national initiative tagged “Ready to read * Ready to learn” to promote reading at an early age. All of it a biro cannot pen down. Laura Bush is doing


 Jonathan Olakunle Olanlokun 


Jonathan Olakunle Olanlokun is the founder of BJB Epperson Nigeria Limited and Barbara Abike Epperson Foundation, an organization he founded to Immortalize, Miss Barbara Epperson his late foster grandmother, the Miami Oklahoma-born American Baptist Missionary and Social Worker, who came to Nigeria between 1953 to 1985. The  philanthropic organization aimed  at building an economically-viable, socially-dynamic and value-prosperous society through the support and cooperation of philanthropists, both individuals and corporate organizations. It is obvious here that Jonathan Olakunle Olanlokun was born on November 4  1976 and noticeable that he shares same birthday with the likes of Jim Ovia, Femi Otedola, Sean Combs and Laura Bush who have stood up for humanity in various ways.The 41 year old Nation Builder stated “All I was doing was out of passion. Jonathan Olakunle Olanlokun has strived to be the change now useful to the society and humanity in general and a Social Entrepreneur, Nation Builder and Philanthropist and dreamer of great dreams.
What is obvious here is that; Femi Otedola was born on this day, He is doing the good work; Jim Ovia was born on this day, he is doing the good work; Sean Combs was born on this day, he is doing the good work; Laura Bush was also born on this day, she is also doing the good work; Jonathan Olakunle Olanlokun was also born on this day and he is also doing the good work.  This goes in line with Isaac Newton’s dictum that says “I can see farther because I am standing on the shoulders of giants.”
